One day Medical/Dental camp was organized by “Society for upliftment of Kashmir” today on World Health Day with the collaboration of SSB-SKIMS(Soura) and Trauma centre, Kangan. Since the main theme of this year’s health day was small bite–big threat, more focus was as such laid on the diseases caused by vectors and their prevention thereof. The camp was attended by large gathering comprising of around 400 beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion doctors impressed upon the participants about the importance and relevance of maintaining oral and general hygiene under the changing health scenario of world. Besides greater emphasis was also laid upon the timely medical care and other interventions for overall upkeep of good health. The beneficiaries/participants were examined/assessed by the team of renowned doctors and medicines were distributed among them. People hailing from the area were quite happy and appreciated the team for organizing this camp and wanted such camp to be organized at frequent intervals.
