Society for upliftment of Kashmir on 28th June organized a free medical and dental camp in the lawn of Khankah-i-Moula Shrine. The team of six dental surgeons including a maxillofacial surgeon and eight speciality doctors gave free consultation to around 300 patients throughout the day.
Free medicine was distributed among the needy and toothpastes given by Colgate were distributed among the kids to encourage oral hygiene. Local group of youth was managing the logistics of the camp and the camp was hailed by the local populace. (Click on photo for more photos)
The locals iterated that such camps must be organized very frequently for the benefit of the poor. We are thankful to Miswak Foundation for the donation of a portable dental chair which was very useful in the camp.
